DISTRIBUTION AND TECHNICAL ADVICE
Support offered directly or by our accredited representatives in Argentina and neighboring countries. We advise on the type, quality, and quantity of coke to be used, according to the form of the filler and the material in the cupola furnace, as well as on the use of various metallurgical coals and their application in other activities.
COKE FOR IRON SMELTING
To control the carbon content in cast iron, we have developed three classes of coke: with high, medium, and low carburizing power, as well as other qualities according to the customer needs:
Note: For reasons of relative costs, we currently manufacture only HIGH carburizing products on a regular basis. Other formulations are made on demand.
REFINED NAPHTHALENE OF MAXIMUM PURITY
Naphthalene is a chemical compound with the formula C10 H8. The different concentrates with a high content of naphthalene that can be obtained from coal tar are known as naphthalene.
PROCAMET S.A. produces and sells 99.9% naphthalene (pure naphthalene), with low sulfur (<2 ppm) and nitrogen (<5 ppm) content, suitable for organic synthesis and with a stable snow-white color – probably the purest naphthalene on the market.
APPLICATIONS
Some of the basic applications of refined naphthalene are:
Compacted balls and scales used to repel moths, bats and other insects and animals. They can also be used to create blends for various use cases.
